The transaction challenge
A live secondaries process brings together fund information, portfolio analysis, investor interest and approvals, often while inputs and deadlines are changing. At TresVista, I worked across 20+ LP-led and GP-led secondaries deals representing $3.5B+ in cumulative NAV for Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory team.
Modeling and analysis
I worked extensively in Excel, building financial models and portfolio analyses, and preparing valuation books, bid books and investor materials. Fund NAV, commitment information and portfolio data came from GP reports, PitchBook and Preqin. The work required checking the inputs, maintaining consistency across materials and delivering accurate updates as transactions progressed.
Sell-side execution
Alongside the analysis, I built and maintained execution trackers, reached out to GPs for approvals and LPs to gauge interest, and kept deal inputs and process updates current. Concurrent U.S. and U.K. workstreams meant balancing detailed modeling with time-sensitive follow-ups and materials.
Work in context
The role combined numerical work with an active transaction process: build the analysis, maintain the information and keep the next step moving. This page describes my responsibilities; confidential deal files and client transaction details are not published.
