About

Across markets and live transactions.

I’m Nitin Noel, a Boston-based finance professional with experience in fixed income at Goldman Sachs and private capital advisory at TresVista. I earned my master’s in finance at Boston College.

I follow market data, policy developments and deal activity to understand what is changing, why it matters and where the implications show up in valuations and portfolios. I enjoy testing an explanation against the numbers and examining the assumptions behind it.

At Goldman Sachs, I worked closely with portfolio managers to explain fixed income performance, benchmark movements and positioning for institutional insurance clients. At TresVista, I spent much of my time in Excel, building models and valuation materials while working across live secondaries transactions.

I’m at my best when the analysis and execution are connected: checking inputs, interpreting the output, communicating it clearly and keeping a demanding process moving. I’m looking for roles in finance that challenge me and put that combination to work.

How I work

Make the reasoning clear.

I start with the source data and the assumptions. I reconcile discrepancies, examine what drives the result and explain the implications in clear terms. Staying close to markets and learning new methods helps me sharpen that judgment.
